Facebook tracks you on any page with a "like" button

This I did not know and now I do, I feel rather uncomfortable.

We use Facebook buttons on Passle and the idea that Facebook can be tracking our users is extremely unsettling. Hopefully this lawsuit will stop Facebook (and doubtless many others) from tracking it's users in this way.

I, for one, did not knowingly consent to this kind of intrusion.

The lawsuit revealed on Friday in Vienna will take on many aspects of Facebook’s behavior, including its reported participation in the PRISM program, its privacy policy, the fact that it tracks anyone who visits a web page with a “like” button on it,
